Mr. Murshed possesses over 20 years of extensive experience in various domains,
including public-private partnerships, infrastructure project procurement, project
management, project financing, and corporate training.
Currently serving as an Infrastructure Finance and PPP Consultant at the World Bank,
he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. Previously, Mr. Murshed
held the position of Director of Private Sector Engagement at Tetra Tech, a prominent
international consulting and engineering firm and provided in a USAID funded project.
Prior to that, he contributed his expertise as a PPP Expert at the Prime Minister’s
Office with the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Authority. Mr. Murshed also has a
robust background in the private sector, having served as the Chief Operating Officer
at Codemate, an international software company, for over seven years. Throughout
his illustrious career, Mr. Murshed has been instrumental in formulating policies,
regulatory and institutional frameworks for PPP modalities. Moreover, he has worked
as a Consultant on multiple infrastructure projects funded by the Asian Development
Bank (ADB), World Bank, IsDB, and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
In recognition of his commitment to professional development, Mr. Murshed was
honored with a prestigious fellowship in 2022. He earned a Master’s Certificate in
Sustainable Development and Financing from the Schulich School of Business, ranked
#1 in Canada, at York University. Additionally, he holds a Master’s in Professional
Accounting from the University of Canberra, Australia. He is a great asset of the
Company.
